Cairo hosted the activities of the 2017 International Human Resources Conference (HR Champions 2017), which was held from 7 to 8 April 2017. It was organized by EastMed and with the participation of experts in the field of human resources management in the Arab world and representatives of the Ministry of Planning and Administrative Reform
in Egypt and Dr. Ayman Al Dahshan, Member of the Egyptian Parliament.
Mr. Mohamed Yassin , CEO of EastMed said : The conference discussed the role of human resources in the development of the society as a whole and the importance of the human element in the implementation of the strategic visions of the official and private institutions, including the Egyptian vision for 2030 and the role of human resources managers in rehabilitating and improving the performance of employees, The profitability of the organization and the society as a whole, as well as the increasing role of information technology and its role in improving the performance of organizations and companies.
Mr. Mahat Al-Madani, President of the Conference and President of the Egyptian Society for Human Resources, stressed on the importance of the conference in Egypt and discussed the challenges facing the human resources profession in Egypt and the Arab world, in addition to the role of the profession in achieving the optimum return of investment in the human element. It has an influential role on the competitiveness of the state economy.
Dr. Mohamed Al-Namaki, Dean of the University of Victoria, School of Management, Switzerland, and former Dean of the Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands, expressed a new model of performance and enhanced leadership qualities of leaders.
Dr. Amr Sadik, CEO of Quodrat, which was one of the important strategic partner during the conference , said that HR practitioners face different challenges both inside and outside the company. And human resources practitioners who are thinking about their role towards realizing the vision of Egypt 2030.
